Bachelor of Finance (Quantitative)

If you have an interest in financial analysis and modelling then you may find this pathway appealing. There is a growing need for Quantitative analysts to provide risk management to both companies and government, develop financial models to estimate and forecast the ever-more complex financial instruments that are now trading, and assist in the development and functioning of computerised trading systems. 

As part of this named degree students can complete courses in financial modelling, mathematical Finance, time series analysis, as well as some actuarial-based studies such as life contingencies. 

All students are admitted to the general Bachelor of Finance program in the first instance. Applicants seeking entry into the Bachelor of Finance or either of the named Finance degrees use the SATAC code 314401.
